He came from a military family, which I believe made him wise and mature beyond his years.
Nick was sharp, with an engaging, imaginative sense of humor. Lots of laughter, and fun times.
Nick was loyal, understanding and supportive, in both good times and also challenging times.
We had adventures, from hunting and sailing, to the teenager rites of passage working at the well known Exxon gas station until all hours of the night. Lots of learning with loud, fast cars along with other great classmates.
Eventually, we both dated and married wonderful "east mountain girls".
As with most classmates, our paths diverged after high school, with Nick entering the business world, and for me a career in Naval Aviation. Our dispersed adult lives between then and now, make these high school memories more valuable every day.
Godspeed Nick Mullins. You leave a wonderful legacy.
I am broken hearted at hearing this news. Such a wonderful friend. He, his wife, and their families embraced me without question. They were my extended family for many years. Such fun memories with much laughter and support. I have truly missed them all through the years. Much love sent to his family.
